In this artwork Ashar Ruben is trying to express the generational trauma that women in India go through, all that the mother live through somehow pass on to her daughter and the struggles and trauma lives on generation to generation. Ashar Ruben is also trying to tell here that how this ruins lives of innocent girls and how we should actively fight through this.
