Shirin Godhrawala is a self taught artist and illustrator from Mumbai currently residing in Dusseldorf. She has been experimenting with acrylic on canvas since about three years now. Her paintings are an abstract expression of intense feelings and existential angst, made using passionate strokes of acrylic , later aggressively slashed across with a palette knife to add a rough, undone texture.
