Born in a potter's family and graduated in the fields of Art, Mahesh Laxman Anjarlekar has been a professional artist in communication art for over two decades. His work encompasses a wide variety of paintings including realistic, figurative poetry on canvas; and for the last 4 years he has reconnected with his roots and has focussed on clay, terracotta and ceramics, inspired by in Indian Sculptures of various ages and times. Mahesh is trying to create a space for himself as a re-creator of battered sculptural forms.
